Atari Centipede

Atari Centipede is a classic fixed-shooter arcade game where your goal is to fend off a variety of enemies, including centipedes, spiders, scorpions, and fleas, using your trusty bugblaster. Aim to survive as long as possible in this thrilling challenge! Your bugblaster fires small darts to target the segmented centipede, which is made up of 10 to 12 body parts, including its head. Each time you hit a segment, it transforms into a mushroom, and the remaining pieces continue to descend independently toward you. To completely eradicate the centipede, you must hit its head first. Control the bugblaster either with your keyboard or mouse to move and shoot at the approaching enemies, striving for a high score in this engaging and fast-paced game!
