NAZARÉ’S QUARANTINE The COVID-19 pandemic swept through Brazil, creating widespread concern and disruption. To protect vulnerable populations, especially the elderly, strict stay-at-home measures were enforced. NAZARÉ, an elderly woman, is determined to leave her house to visit the bank. She underestimates the severity of COVID-19, considering it just a mild flu, and believes her athletic background will keep her safe.
